SENT AN EMBASSY OF SAMURAI TO SPAIN
In 1613 the visionary samurai Date Masamune, Daimyo and feudal lord of the Sendai region (Japan), organized and sent the Keicho Samurai Embassy to Spain to establish diplomatic and commercial relations with Spain, the world power of the time.
After a long and arduous journey of eleven months, the embassy disembarked in Sanlúcar de Barrameda on October 5, 1614 and settled in Coria del Río (Seville).
THE SAMURAI FASCINATED
THE SPANISH COURT
The Samurai of the Keicho Embassy fascinated the Spanish aristocracy and court by their absolute neatness, their meticulous bathing ritual and their modern personal hygiene utensils unknown in Europe, such as their disposable silk handkerchiefs or their hair and toothbrushes.
4 CENTURIES LATER THE JAPANESE TOILET "JAPAN SMART TOILET" IS PRESENTED IN SPAIN
Four centuries later, the descendants of the Samurai from the innovative company ARCA Japan of Sendai have created the "Japan Smart Toilet", the perfect toilet.
An impressive and advanced high-end Japanese smart toilet presented in our country by the company HOME JAPÓN, founded and directed by a descendant of the Keicho Embassy samurai who stayed in Spain.
